The Mississippi Hospital Association recently named Brian K. Hogan, Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, to serve on the Board of Governors as the Northeast Council Representative through June 2026. The primary function of the MHA Board of Governors is to make policy decisions and to provide fiduciary oversight for the trade association.
Hogan came to Baptist DeSoto as an associate administrator in 2016 after holding several leadership roles at Baptist Memorial hospitals, including CEO and administrator of Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee. He began his Baptist career in 1994 as a head nurse in Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis’ orthopedic and neurology unit.
