WEBINAR: Web Content: A New Compliance Challenge

Program Overview
As health care organization websites evolve from informational to transactional and even into telehealth care delivery portals, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines has become increasingly more complex and compelling. Plaintiff verdicts and court settlements in other industries serve as a precursor for the potential of web compliance lawsuits aimed at health care providers. Health care leaders can take simple steps to ensure web content compliance and avoid legal action while optimizing the return on digital marketing investments. This process starts with awareness and risk assessment.

Learning Objectives
•Recognize the legal exposures created by a health care organization’s website.
•Develop a plan to repair shortcomings.
•Identify marketing potential of e-presence programs.

Intended Audience
Compliance officers, IT directors, communication directors, web masters and marketing staff
