WEBINAR:Home Health CoP - Part 1

This series will review the major changes in the home health conditions of participation (CoPs).

Session 1/Overview and Patient Rights
- Having patient-centered CoPs entails the clinician and home health agency to understand and be compliant during the entire home health admission and not just at the admission. This is evident in the patient rights condition that we will review in detail. The speaker will review the organization, administration and personnel conditions to highlight those changes.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Discuss the key changes of the home health CoPs.
2. Identify the principles of the new CoPs.
3. Describe how patients’ rights have changed with the changes in the CoPs.
4. Give examples of the organization and administrative CoPs changes.
5. Explain what the changes are for OASIS reporting and release of changes.
6. Identify the new qualification for administrators and clinical managers.
