WEBINAR: MRI: CMS CoPs & TJC Requirements

Course Curriculum

This webinar will cover the revised CMS hospital CoPs on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) along with the Joint Commission (TJC) MRI requirements. Our speaker will review the American College of Radiology (ACR) guidance documentation on Medical Radiology (MR) safe practices, as well as potential risks and reports of adverse incidents associated with MRI. She will also include discussion on the diagnostic imaging standards related to MRI standards by TJC. These standards require the hospital to provide ongoing education in many areas, including positioning to prevent thermal injuries, screening for medical implants and more.

Additionally, our speaker will review the American College of Radiology guidelines and safety concerns to make your MRI environment safer. This is a-must attend program for any facility with MRI capabilities and is important in light of four recent MRI incidents in US hospitals.
