OVERVIEW:
Attend this session to learn the new and revised workplace violence prevention standards that the Joint Commission put in place in 2022. All Joint Commission-accredited hospitals will be expected to comply with these standards. The new standards provide a framework to guide hospitals in developing effective workplace violence prevention systems, including leadership oversight, policies and procedures, reporting systems, data collection and analysis, post-incident strategies, training, and education to decrease workplace violence.
