For many in Rolling Fork, this year's Christmas and holiday season will be beyond challenging. There will be those reconciling with great loss and others forced to abandon tradition since the March tornado. For the displaced, it'll mean trying to celebrate the holidays in an unfamiliar place. Many will be missing the most important part of the holiday season - their family.

Please join MHA and Sharkey-Issaquena Community Hospital in making sure that Rolling Fork residents affected by the March tornado have a Very Beary Christmas! Rolling Fork, a city known for being the birthplace of the Teddy bear, became known on March 24, 2023, for the aftermath of the devastating tornado. Many residents, including hospital employees, are still rebuilding their lives. This holiday gift drive will ensure that affected families have a merry Christmas this year. In addition to new unwrapped toys and books for kids, we are also collecting kitchenware, cleaning supplies, bedding, toiletries, and small houseware items for the adults. You can drop off donations at the Mississippi Hospital Association building at 116 Woodgreen Crossing in Madison, Mississippi Organ Recovery, 4400 Lakeland Drive in Flowood or Complete Care Clinic at 29 S. 4th Street in Rolling Fork.

Monetary donations will also be accepted. You can donate online here or fill out this donation form. One-hundred percent of all monetary donations will go towards gifts for affected tornado victims.
