TRAUMA SYMPOSIUM: A State of Readiness
Mississippi Trauma Care System Foundation
A State of Readiness
May 3 - May 5, 2021
The "State of Readiness" Mississippi Trauma Symposium offers participants the opportunity to assemble as a statewide team. Offering approximately eighteen-course hours at the price of $100, the Symposium will also include Question and Answer sessions for each lecture. COVID-19 has changed our lives in so many ways, produced unprecedented strain on the trauma system, and wearied care providers.
This three-day event is an opportunity to refresh your body, soul, and spirit with inspiring presentations from nationally known keynote speakers. The Mississippi State Department of Health Bureau of Acute Care Services will provide updates on our system's state. The academic staff will speak on subjects requested by the trauma center and EMS staff. From pediatrics to geriatric, from registry data entry to performance improvement, this event will ensure a state of readiness.
We will also have a time of recognition to honor those you have selected and to celebrate our Mississippi Resident's Trauma Paper competition.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
This training is funded through a partnership with the Mississippi Trauma Care System Foundation, Inc. (MTCSF) and the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH). A total of 10 CNEs and CMEs have been approved through AXIS Medical Education Foundation, Inc.
